We can make a difference in the lives of many in Africa by working together.  Help us to continue our work by donating now to our programs.

Impacting Villages in Africa Ministries collects clothes, sundresses, shoes, sandals, toys, dolls, children’s books, bibles, school supplies and other items to help the children of Uganda. The need is overwhelming and these items are taken with me each year when I travel to Uganda. There is also a need for mosquito nets to help prevent mosquitoes from infecting these precious children from contracting malaria, a disease that that can be detrimental. During my mission work in Uganda, we feed approximately 400 children in three (3) villages and engage the children in activities, including games, soccer, volleyball and other sports.

Impacting Villages in Africa Ministries also provides other opportunities for the children, empowering them to move forward in spite of their situation. We have established a Mentorship program to encourage these children to pursue their dreams. Some professionals and educators of Uganda have agreed to mentor these children who see themselves as future doctors, lawyers, teachers and entrepreneurs. Our goal is to provide emotional support for them, building Christian values, positive self-esteem and make a difference, one child at a time.  We want to give these children love, and a means to help themselves. The greatest gift we can offer is the matchless love of Jesus Christ! We want each child to understand that their life matters and God has a plan for them to be with Him for eternity.

Impacting Villages in Africa Ministries launched a piggery project in January 2014 in one of the villages within Kampala Uganda. This project is a sustainable agricultural opportunity for the villagers in the breeding and selling of pigs and it has helped to increase their income tremendously and some were able to start their own businesses, purchased iron sheets (roofs) and toilets for their homes, grow crops in their gardens and provide school fees for their children. The project has been running successfully for four (4) years and the two (2) high breed pigs and one (1) male pig we purchased, have produced over 20 piglets.  We have blessed needy families with those pigs.  More families will receive a pig to begin the breeding and selling process to generate income for their families. This will be a perpetual process as each pig breeds and produces. It is such a blessing to witness the starting of their businesses and them pursuing sustainable independent lifestyle for themselves.

Our long-term goal is to have a small orphanage and provide them with a Well so that they can have clean water.  Currently, as a temporary solution, we have installed a 5,000 liter (1320.86 US liquid gallons of water) water tanker in a village which collects water during their rainy season. This project will be implemented in other villages to support our clean water project.

We also provide kits of Sanitary Reusable Pads for teenage girls in several villages who cannot attend school during that time of the month.  These pads can be reused for up to one year.

We visit several orphanages supplying them with clothes, sandals, school supplies and toys.  We partner with a youth pastor to provide shelter for teen boys who live in the streets. A mentorship program has been established to empower children to achieve their career goals.

In advance, we thank you for your support of Impacting Villages in Africa Ministries!
